Honey is a healthy, entirely natural food, which has been treasured by people the world over from the earliest times. Its production enriches the environment as bees pollinate the flowers they visit.
This Heather Honey is produced by the bees which are taken to the heart of Dartmoor in Devon during September. This honey is the bees final gathering of their long hard year and before being put to rest for the winter, they fly over the purple heather moors from dawn till dusk, gathering nectar which they turn into the highly prized and unique flavoured Heather Honey, which is much sought after by connoisseurs.
Our honey is supplied to us from the apiaries of RJ Lintell in Otterham, Camelford.
