Made from selected English Apples, fruit is pressed and fermented to produce this lightly dry cider, infused with our pure raspberry juice.

 

Polgoon the use the Methode Traditionelle of secondary fermentation which the French have used for years to produce some of their finest sparkling wines.

 

The end result is a unique and refined sparkling cider to be enjoyed with lunch, light foods, lazy Cornish days, friends and family.

Six years ago John & Kim Coulson were fish merchants supplying Marks & Spencer from their business based at Newlyn Fishing port. With a growing family of 5 children they needed a bigger house! By chance they found a derelict farmhouse on the edge of Penzance and decided to buy it - along with 23 acres, 2 cottages and 2 barns for conversion. After meeting an award winning Cornish Wine maker they decided to plant vines and create their own Cornish Vineyard. From their first wine harvest (2006) they were awarded the Trophy for the “Best Still Rose in the UK”. This trophy was awarded by the UK Vintners Association, was judged by 7 Masters of Wine and sponsored by Waitrose.
