Penpont was established in a converted milking parlour on a farm just outside Altarnun, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. We aim to produce a range of tasty and innovative beers, from regular ales to more unusual specialist beers, using the best traditional ingredients and our own natural spring water.

Cornish Arvor is a golden red ale with a distinctive hoppy taste and some malty complexity.  Arvor is Cornish for coast.

Penpont Porter is brewed in the style of the traditional London Porters from th 18 & 19th centuries.

It is a full bodied, almost black ale, with a very rich, strong flavour of chocolate, coffee and liquorice.

Rough Tor (pronounced Row Tor) is the second tallest mountain in Cornwall, situated a few miles from the brewery.

Rough Tor (the beer) is a well hopped amber premium bitter, with mellow berry hop notes and a malty full body.
